<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>What Health Unit Coordinator, HUC will do:</p> <ul> <li>Providing strong customer service to patients, families, visitors and colleagues in a professional and helpful manner </li><li>Assists with unit flow coordination (answering phones, call lights, all administrative assignments related to patient care/unit operations) </li><li>Understands and proficiently uses all computer programs </li><li>Medical record and data management </li><li>Troubleshoots low level computer issues and coordinators with appropriate departments as needed for assistance </li></ul> <p>What Health Unit Coordinator, HUC will need:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>One year of college course or higher level training preferred </li><li>Health Unit Coordinator Certification preferred </li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology </li><li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to manage interruptions while maintaining excellent customer focus </li><li>Well developed communication skills, both written and oral </li></ul> <p>Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Magnet designated facility with active shared decision making councils.?
