This position reports to the Assistant Director, Aquatics.</p> <ul> <li>Safety and Surveillance: Ensure the safety of users through continuous surveillance. </li><li>Facility Inspection & Maintenance: Inspect the facility, perform preventative maintenance and report any unsafe conditions or equipment failures. </li><li>Chemical Testing: Perform regular water chemistry tests and accurately log the readings to maintain water quality and compliance. </li><li>Event Operations: Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment for various aquatic programs, special events and open recreation activities. </li><li>Certification and Fitness: Maintain an up-to-date American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and preserve the required fitness level (swimming skills, strength and endurance) necessary to effectively respond to all aquatic emergencies. </li><li>Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and inviting aquatic environment. </li><li>Guideline Enforcement: Understand and enforce Wellness and Recreation and area specific guidelines. </li><li>Risk Management: Knowledge and implementation of emergency action plan. </li><li>Administrative Support: Complete necessary records and reports, and assist with opening and closing checklists. </li><li>Training and Meetings: Attend required training and meetings. </li><li>Community: Develop professional relationships with co-workers, participants and guests. </li><li>Support: Perform other related duties to support the overall functioning of the department. </li></ul> <p>Is Time Limited Yes If Yes, Appointment Length 3 months Wolfpack Perks and Benefits</p> <p>As a Pack member, you belong here, and can enjoy exclusive perks designed to enhance your personal and professional well-being.
