<p>#LI-KW1 #LI-Remote</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Build trust quickly, and maintain client relationships, meeting specified new business production goals</p> </li><li> <p>Develop a strong understanding of the client's business and strategic priorities</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the outward-facing client service advisor, while utilizing internal and external constituents to accomplish the desired results</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze submission for proper risk selection, terms, and pricing, to achieve program profitability goals</p> </li><li> <p>Submit referrals and obtain approval for risks above authority</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that all underwriting guidelines, internal controls, and procedures are followed</p> </li><li> <p>Document underwriting files as required</p> </li><li> <p>Provide outstanding customer service with timely responses, quotes and guidance</p> </li><li> <p>May work with direct customers and/or sub-producers</p> </li><li> <p>Support the renewal retention team as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Gain proficiency in all relevant company systems and Microsoft Office Suite</p> </li><li> <p>May provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff members</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Program Manager on special projects as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Performance Measurement Metrics</p> <ul> <li> <p>Profitable growth of assigned book of business</p> </li><li> <p>Audits of program service standards, production, and overall underwriting file quality</p> </li><li> <p>Timeliness and quality of executing new business submissions and onboarding new clients</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all policies are invoiced by no later than the month the policy is effective (unbilled report)</p> </li><li> <p>Management and peer evaluations</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree</p> </li><li> <p>Possess solid business acumen and understand broad strategy, but also be able to manage the business- execution process and details</p> </li><li> <p>Superior negotiation skills, with experience in developing successful internal and external relationships / partnerships</p> </li><li> <p>Strong time management, organizational skills, critical thinking skills and process management / delivery abilities</p> </li><li> <p>Drive, determination, ingenuity and a relentless competitive nature are essential</p> </li><li> <p>Possess a strong sense of urgency, demonstrate a willingness to hold self and others accountable, and be committed to achieving success in their own career</p> </li><li> <p>CPCU, CIC, ARM, AU, and/or other industry professional designations are desirable</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel based on client and business needs</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>At least 5 years of underwriting experience </li><li>Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Advanced customer service skills </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently </li><li>Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities </li></ul>
