As an Engineering Program Manager, this role will be pivotal in driving the advancement of similar cutting-edge projects. Responsibilities include leading engineering initiatives through all development stages, coordinating across multiple teams including engineering, supply chain, vehicle programs, manufacturing, and operations leadership to ensure successful project execution.</p> <ul> <li>Manage cross-functional programs from end-to-end, covering various areas of thermal engineering while coordinating with manufacturing, production, design, test, and firmware teams </li><li>Facilitate technical deep-dives with engineering teams, cost analysis with global supply managers, and assembly/service evaluations with manufacturing and service engineers </li><li>Apply critical thinking to make data-driven decisions that advance key technologies aligned with Tesla's mission </li><li>Define and drive schedules for new project launches, technology development milestones, and sustaining programs to ensure on-time delivery </li><li>Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance precision and dependability while maintaining Tesla's signature agility </li><li>Oversee documentation to track project status and issues, ensuring timely completion </li><li>Lead teams with confidence through rapid development cycles, evolving requirements, and uncertainty </li><li>Degree in relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of program or project management experience in cross-functional programs with an engineering focus and manufacturing operations exposure </li><li>Experience in fast-paced environments with end-to-end product deployment from concept through development to successful launch </li><li>Ability to operate with limited resources, work independently, meet tight deadlines, and act with urgency </li><li>Proven experience in building and managing effective program management tools and processes </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working in highly cross-functional settings </li><li>Exceptional organizational and delegation skills with the ability to own the product roadmap </li></ul>
