<p>Staffmark is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator Helper to support our pressroom team. In this role, you'll assist the Pressman with setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn, grow, and become an integral part of the pressroom team.</p> <p>Pay: $17.00 per hour</p> <p>Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Pressman with make-ready and press runs, including washing blankets and maintaining supplies of rags and chemicals </li><li>Perform basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, part replacement, roller adjustments, and cleaning </li><li>Keep the press area clean, organized, and safe </li><li>Build loads, work paper for second-pass runs, and air up printed stock as needed </li><li>Follow proper chemical handling and disposal procedures using Material Safety Data Sheets </li><li>Learn additional skills such as the feeder position as tasks allow </li><li>Communicate effectively with the Pressman, Shift Supervisor, and team members </li></ul> <p>Who We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Strong team player with good verbal communication skills </li><li>Willingness to follow directions and work safely in a production environment </li><li>Eager to learn and develop skills in pressroom operations </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love This Job</p> <p>Staffmark offers a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
