Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Project Controller is responsible for verifying costs with vendors and suppliers, estimating expenditures, and recommending cost-saving measures to upper management.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develops and implements cost control procedures, documents, and tools to support and enhance project budget management. </li><li>Collects and coordinates procurement and other cost information used to develop cost forecasting, cost control strategies, and project risk analysis. </li><li>Performs data and schedule analysis to identify project trends and budget deviations to illustrate cost underruns and overruns. </li><li>Works on advanced, complex technical projects. </li><li>Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs. </li><li>Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste. </li><li>Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures to deliver projects on time and on budget. </li><li>Present new strategies and assessments to executive team. </li><li>Adhere to all company safety/OSHA rules and regulations. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience years of related experience. Management experience is strongly preferred. Must have experience with cost-estimating methods. Extensive technical knowledge of processes and materials specific to the type of project. Must be detail oriented. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite.</p> <p>The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.</p> <p>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Note: The company does not provide employment visa sponsorship for this position.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Some overnight travel required. Some overtime is required to meet deadlines. Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally. Requires long periods of sitting.
