<p>THE JOB / Event Executive, Experiences (Hospitality)</p> <p>EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.</p> <ul> <li>Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, or Chicago, IL. </li></ul> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our skilled and dynamic global hospitality team, with a specific focus on golf-centric programs. As an Event Executive, you will play a key role in supporting a tech client through a variety of premier golf events and experiences. If you're passionate about exceptional guest experiences and the world of golf, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>THE WORK YOU'LL DO</p> <ul> <li>Conduct pre-planning management and implementation for hospitality-focused events including vendor research, merchandise management, and event communications </li><li>Coordinate projects with outside vendors and internal resources </li><li>Learn and lead sophisticated guest registration systems </li><li>Understand clients' values and voice while handling consumer facing communication </li><li>Develop agendas and take detailed notes for weekly meetings with both internal and external partners </li><li>Coordinate status details on pre-event meeting agendas, i.e., transportation, F&B, and other activities </li><li>Design, prepare and distribute event execution guides, staff implementation guides, and personalized itineraries for guests at various events </li><li>Provide hands-on event staffing and oversight </li><li>Assist with numerous projects simultaneously ranging from hotel room blocks to concierge email responses, to ticketing management </li><li>Generate recap documents of each event including key metrics and recommendations </li><li>Celebrate the team's accomplishments with us </li></ul> <p>THE BIGGER TEAM YOU'LL JOIN</p> <p>Recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in Sports", Octagon is the global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Interpublic Group.</p> <p>We take pride in being Playmakers - finding insightful, bold ways to create play in our work, our lives, and in the world.
