The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 99-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>It is the responsibility of the Lead Operations (Part-Time) to supervise and coordinate activities of production workers, while performing the same subordinate duties. Professionally interacts with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner representatives to provide the highest level of service excellence.</p> <p>This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows a hybrid schedule working part-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Avon, MA.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. </li><li>Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. </li><li>Produce production schedules, labor budgets and estimates worker hours requirements for completion of job assignments. </li><li>Perform duties while superviseing the following duties: loading and unloading equipment, marking floor, setting up service area, meeting rooms, and offices, hanging drape and booth signs, setting up boneyard, etc. </li><li>Supervise and dispatch all work performed. </li><li>Perform activities of workers supervised. </li><li>Ensure that all equipment is returned to warehouse and brokkijuhen or damaged equipment is tagged for repair. </li><li>Maintain consistently acceptable job cost. </li><li>Plans daily production schedule. Assigns standby labor as necessary. Maintains time and production records. </li><li>Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials. </li><li>Establish and maintain an orderly, efficient, and secure boneyard. </li><li>Maintain communication with the Account Executive and the Service Desk, and advises of any problems that may affect their operation. </li><li>Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions. </li><li>Complete required safety training and apply safe work practices at all times. </li><li>Immediately report any workplace accidents, near misses, hazards, or unsafe conditions to a manager or through an appropriate reporting channel. </li><li>Participate in safety discussions and communicate concerns or feedback openly to help maintain a safe work environment. </li><li>Use tools, equipment, and protective gear properly to prevent injuries and incidents. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>3+ years of trade show, warehouse operations and/or related experience is required. </li><li>Understanding with: Office software applications including but not limited to email, Microsoft Word, Excel, TSS and Concierge Elite. </li><li>Must have ability to complete online reports, printing, posting, running inquiries and data entry. </li><li>Produce trade shows on the 1000 - 1500 booth level. </li><li>Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements. </li><li>Ability to consistently follow safety rules and contribute to a positive safety culture. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
