<p>QA Inspector:</p> <p>First Shift</p> <p>Temp to Hire</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As a QA Inspector in our Receiving department, you'll be the first line of defense in quality control-ensuring incoming and in-process parts meet strict specifications and documentation standards. You'll collaborate with design engineers, test teams, and fabricators to uphold quality from the moment parts arrive through final production.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Inspect incoming and in-process mechanical and electrical components using precision measurement tools</p> </li><li> <p>Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other instruments to verify part compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceable records</p> </li><li> <p>Apply GD&T principles to evaluate tolerances and fit</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth and compliant workflow</p> </li><li> <p>Support root cause and corrective action activities as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in a quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing QA role</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T principles</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working with small, high-precision parts</p> </li></ul> <p>After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
