<p>Senior Test Analyst (Hybrid - Columbia, SC)</p> <p>The Senior Test Analyst designs, develops, and executes test cases to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the application release process. The Analyst must have a strong background in functional, regression, and other manual testing.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze requirements and specifications to identify potential gaps and areas of complexity in testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are accounted for during testing. Perform risk analysis to prioritize testing efforts based on potential impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Execute manual test cases and report defects using tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Validate bug fixes and perform retesting as needed for regression and other types of testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Confirm thorough testing that all integration points for the system and applications have been tested.</p> </li><li> <p>Log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the development teams to ensure the timely resolution of issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze trends to provide insight and improve the development process.</p> </li><li> <p>Document and report test results to stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain test documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of testing efforts.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and implement best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies in manual testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor other test analysts.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll need</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 5 years' experience in manual testing</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and other SDLC methodologies</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in ADO (Azure DevOps) and other testing tools</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders, product owners, and application teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to perform risk-based testing and prioritize test efforts accordingly.</p> </li></ul>
