<p>Job Description</p> <p>Industrial Maintenance Technician - Des Moines, IA</p> <p>$1,500 Sign-On Bonus!</p> <p>Location: 1935 E Euclid Ave Des Moines, IA 50313</p> <p>Shift:?Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; on-call and overtime work also required</p> <p>Job Type:?Full Time</p> <p>Compensation:?$28.59/hour</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Maintenance Technicians perform inspections, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on process equipment with a focus on Precision Maintenance and Reliability. This role supports safe, efficient plant operations through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of conveying systems, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment.</p> <p>Qualified candidates will have a 2-year technical degree in a maintenance-related field and/or relevant industrial maintenance experience. Applicable programs may include Industrial Maintenance, Diesel Mechanics, Auto Mechanics, Mechatronics, or similar technical disciplines.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical maintenance and repairs </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic and precision maintenance tools </li><li>Work safely and follow all lockout/tagout, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality procedures </li><li>Operate hoists, forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and power tools </li><li>Use millwright hand tools, measuring devices, and alignment equipment </li><li>Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping tasks </li><li>Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment </li><li>Participate in ongoing technical and safety training </li><li>Support plant reliability, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in extreme temperatures, dusty, noisy, and industrial environments while using required PPE </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and stand/walk for extended periods </li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces such as tanks, boilers, and process vessels </li><li>Strong attendance, punctuality, and safety awareness required </li><li>Ability to safely handle chemicals, solvents, and cleaners used in maintenance work </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office products and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) </li><li>Familiarity with precision maintenance tools such as laser alignment, ultrasound, and thermography equipment preferred </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and support reliability-focused maintenance practices </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field preferred </li><li>Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred </li><li>Strong experience in mechanical and/or industrial maintenance required </li></ul> <p>Benefits (Starting Day 1!!)</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental & vision insurance </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Paid time off & holidays </li><li>Life & disability insurance </li><li>Employee stock purchase plan </li><li>Tuition assistance & job training </li><li>Wellness resources and EAP support </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of?a?background check.</p> <p>REF:109633BR</p>
