<p>Description</p> <p>Specialization:</p> <p>Emergency Medical Services</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>HCA Skyline Medical Center is seeking an EMS Director for our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program.</p> <p>Qualified Candidates:</p> <ul> <li>• Program Leadership: Support and assist in the oversight of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program, collaborating with two other EMS physicians to serve as a liaison between the department and EMS agencies. </li><li>• Education and Outreach: Provide education and training to EMS personnel, residents, and medical students through lectures, simulation, and field experiences. </li><li>• Support long term efforts to develop an EMS fellowship </li><li>• Medical Direction: Offer clinical oversight, protocol development, and quality assurance for EMS operations. </li><li>• Operational Support: Collaborate with EMS agencies to ensure optimal pre-hospital patient care and seamless integration with the Emergency Department. </li><li>• Research and Advocacy: Support EMS-related research projects and advocate for advancements in pre-hospital care. </li><li>• Disaster Preparedness: Participate in disaster planning and response initiatives in coordination with local and regional EMS agencies. </li></ul> <p>About TriStar Skyline Medical Center:</p> <ul> <li>286-bed hospital </li><li>Dedicated 17-bed neuro ICU, 34-beds stroke; 4-bed EMU </li><li>EEG and EMG on site </li><li>Tennessee's first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience </li><li>As an ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency care with over 3,700 ED visits per month. </li><li>Offering programs including heart and vascular, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, and CARF accredited rehabilitation.
