Our dedicated team of veterinarians and staff are passionate about animals, providing both expert medical attention and heartfelt comfort. https://crazypawsvet.com/</p> <p>Licensed Veterinary Technician</p> <p>Crazy Paws Veterinary Hospital in Cohasset, MA</p> <p>Salary : $20.00 - $28.00 depending on experience</p> <ul> <li>WHAT YOU'LL DO </li><li>Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones </li><li>Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy </li><li>Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas </li><li>Perform physical assessments and record your observations </li><li>Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients </li><li>Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions </li><li>Assist the Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures (be comfortable with blood draws and placing IV catheters; prepare patients for surgery; administer anesthesia; monitor patients during surgery and recovery; administer fluids) </li><li>Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room properly stocked and prepared for surgery </li><li>Pharmacy skills, including protocols for filling in-house </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) required </li><li>Previous experience as a LVT is required </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>We're passionate about helping you reach your greatest potential - both at work and at home.
