<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>12 Hour Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Job Title: CNA - Joint and Spine</p> <p>Employment Type: Part Time</p> <p>Shift: Day</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our 14-bed Joint and Spine Unit, you'll assist patients with daily living activities and post-operative recovery. You'll work closely with RNs and physical therapists to support patient mobility, comfort, and independence-playing a vital part in improving outcomes and patient satisfaction.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Assist patients with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting) </li><li>Support care procedures including catheter care, sitz baths, colostomy care, and more </li><li>Apply care products such as compression devices and restraints appropriately </li><li>Set up respiratory and cardiac equipment (e.g., oxygen, suction, EKGs, incentive spirometry) </li><li>Function in both CNA and Health Unit Coordinator roles as assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the Maryland Board of Nursing </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>BLS certification </li><li>1 year of hospital experience (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Promote early ambulation and independence in activities of daily living </li><li>Collaborate closely with nursing and therapy teams </li><li>Build meaningful patient connections in a smaller unit </li><li>Contribute to a team-focused, high-quality care environment </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive benefit packages available, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid time off, 403B, education assistance and voluntary benefits (pet insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and others) available from first day of employment. </li><li>Work/Life balance with flexible schedules. </li><li>Free onsite parking. </li><li>DailyPay Program </li><li>Our mission and core values are what drives each member of Holy Cross Health to support each other, communicate openly and respectfully while embracing a culture that nurtures a healing, safe environment for all. </li></ul> <p>Pay rate: $17.89 - $25.04</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
