<p>#LI-PL1 #LI-Hybrid</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Contains advanced technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting standards in researching, completing and reviewing technical areas. </li><li>Addresses questions on technical accounting matters from team members and upper level client management </li><li>Has intermediate to advanced level tax preparation skills </li><li>Performs a detailed review of team's workflow and monitors tasks to ensure they are assigned and completed on a timely basis </li><li>Manages multiple assignments inside an engagement </li><li>Communicates with Partner, Manager and/or Supervising Senior on work status and client issues that arise </li><li>Has advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software (e.g. Axcess Tax, Engagement, SurePrep, etc.) </li><li>Participates in planning and execution of client engagement in collaboration with the Manager and/or Partner on the job </li><li>Identifies opportunities to leverage staff including designing staffing structure of engagement </li><li>Leads small to medium sized assignments with finalized document and report requiring minimal change upon review </li><li>Trains, supervises and mentors lower level staff </li><li>Takes a lead role in client and team meetings and contributes new ideas and strategic initiatives </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field </li><li>Bachelor's degree with a preferred field of study in Accounting </li><li>CPA eligible </li><li>3+ years' or relevant work and industry experience </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work independently, but also work well with others </li><li>CPA license or on track to obtain </li><li>Software Experience - CCH Axcess Tax, Microsoft Office 365 </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred </li><li>2 years of experience in public accounting or related field </li><li>CPA candidates preferred </li><li>Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li><li>Must be able to travel based on client and business needs </li></ul>
