<p>Responsible for onboarding and maintaining records for current and new South County Medical Group (SCMG) individual providers and group enrollments with contracted payers. Responsible for functions and maintenance of provider enrollment portals. Facilitates aspects of clinical privileging for Medical Staff, Advanced Practice Providers and all others outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws, policies or related contracts, as needed. Assists in successful maintenance, compliance and reporting regarding Ongoing Professional Performance Evaluations and Initial Focused Professional Performance Evaluations. Supports the Medical Staff Coordinator in administrative tasks, such as meeting preparation, minute notation, and other tasks as needed.</p> <ul> <li>Enrolling employed provider with contracted payers </li><li>Maintaining continuous participation status for all provider and the facility with contracted payers </li><li>Maintaining the compliance and accuracy of provider portals </li><li>Participation in the Bi-Weekly South County Medical Group Onboarding meeting </li><li>Assisting in the completion of Medical Staff Appointment Applications </li><li>Assisting in monitoring and distributing Ongoing and Initial Professional Performance Evaluations for Medical Staff members </li><li>Assisting with administrative duties, such as meeting preparation and minute notation, as needed </li><li>Knowledge of South County Health Medical Staff governance, policies, procedures </li><li>Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards as it relates to Medical Staff Service </li><li></li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree </li><li>Three or more years in healthcare experience </li><li>Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification recommended </li></ul>
