<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Inventory Control role will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the inventory of steel products across our warehouse or distribution facility. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of steel product types, handling procedures, and inventory management best practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong attention to detail, and have experience handling inventory in a fast-paced industrial environment.</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Repetitive Motion, Reaching</p> <p>Function in the Job</p> <p>Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</p> <p>Job Function</p> <ul> <li>Checking loads for accuracy </li><li>Performing load spot checks </li><li>Checking loaded trailers to assure they are safe and chainable </li><li>Pre receiving of mill trucks and railcars as needed </li><li>Do PO reservations and pull work orders </li><li>Research depleted tags </li><li>Fill out inventory adjustment request forms as needed </li><li>Investigate missing/can't find material </li><li>Inspect RMAs </li><li>Communicate with traffic, QA and warehouse daily </li><li>Special projects assigned by management as necessary </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>Required 1-3 years warehouse experience</p> <p>Eniteo program knowledge necessary</p> <p>Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred</p>
