Posting Number 20162771F Job Description</p> <p>The Department of Mathematics at Ohio University invites applications for</p> <p>one-year teaching positions (from August 16, 2025, to May 15, 2026), with the</p> <p>rank of Visiting Professor. Depending on departmental requirements, funding availability, and the candidate's successful performance, there is a possibility of extending the position for up to two additional years. The expected teaching schedule is 4-5 classes per semester, not to exceed 16 credit hours per semester. Most classes will be in person.</p> <p>The department has a broad mission, from teaching general education</p> <p>classes through mentoring doctoral students and conducting research.
