<p>Current Position Openings - FT Vice President Of Workforce Development & Government AffairsPosition Title: FT Vice President Of Workforce Development & Government Affairs</p> <p>Position Classification: Full-Time Administration</p> <p>Minimum Position Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution required; Masters Degree preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - Ten (10) years experience in leadership roles within higher education, government, or a workforce development related organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills - Demonstrated in-depth and current knowledge of education, economic, and workforce development initiatives and resources; proven ability to compile, analyze, and interpret research data and present data in tabular, pictorial, and graphic formats; excellent analytical, organizational, marketing, and planning skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects simultaneously; proven problem solving skills including the ability to synthesize disparate quantitative and qualitative data to develop innovative solutions; excellent interpersonal, influencing, written, and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees across all organizational levels and with community stakeholders; experience performing effectively in a broad range of environments including academic, government, and business settings.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <p>Responsible for the development, implementation, and promotion of workforce development education programs; represent and interface on behalf of the College with external business and industry partners; collaborate with faculty to align curriculum with employer needs and current labor demands; research, write, secure, and manage grants supporting workforce development initiatives; oversee and manage customized job training programs; supervise staff by assigning work and schedules, adjusting priorities, serving as final authority for approval or denial of leave, conducting performance evaluations, and making recommendations regarding hiring, termination, and problem solving; build and sustain relationships with elected officials, government agencies, and policy makers at local, state, and federal levels; monitor and analyze legislation and regulations affecting the workforce development field and provide testimony on behalf of the College; flexible work hours may include evenings and weekends; other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Entry Salary: $105,668.10/annual</p> <p>Standard Work Week: 35 hours</p> <p>Apply End Date: March 8, 2026.</p>
