No Positions Supervised</p> <p>This position may supervise student workers, interns, and volunteers as directed.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. </li><li>Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with the departmental team as well as external stakeholders. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies including members of the media, general public, and university administrators, faculty, staff and students. </li><li>Ability to use independent judgment and to gather, manage and impart information to the media and various other internal and external audiences. </li><li>Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. </li><li>Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. </li><li>Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. </li><li>Possess media relations skills. </li><li>Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance. </li><li>Knowledge of sporting press box procedures, techniques, facilities, and equipment. </li><li>Ability to utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.). </li></ul> <p>Additional Position Information</p> <p>Must be able to comply with Athletic Department, University, Board of Trustees, and NCAA policies and procedures.</p> <p>Benefits of Employment (Applies to full-time, non-police employees only)</p>
