<p>Kforce's client, a global and well-established, very successful financial services firm in Boston, MA known for a great culture and quality of life, is looking to hire a Senior Investment Tax Associate to join their office. The client offers excellent benefits and growth potential. This position is scheduled as a hybrid role and 3 days a week onsite with flexibility.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure accurate and timely filing of federal and state tax returns for investment funds and related entities </li><li>Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations </li><li>Analyze investment transactions </li><li>Stay update on tax laws, regulations and rulings impacting investment entities; provide insights to management and clients </li><li>Prepare detailed tax documentation, including work papers, reports and correspondence with tax authorities </li><li>Work closely with investment professional, accounting teams, and external advisors to address tax issues </li><li>Serve a s point of contact for client inquiries regarding tax matters provide guidance and support </li><li>Mentor junior staff and provide training on tax related topics </li><li>Other duties as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field </li><li>4+ years of tax experience from public accounting or financial services </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge in ASC740 accounting for income taxes, and Statutory accounting </li><li>Proficiency in tax software and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint </li><li>Strong analytical skills </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Excellent communication abilities </li><li>Self-motivation and critical thinking </li></ul>
