This may include description of your prior experiences related to research, prevention, clinical care, community engagement/outreach, training, administration, or other areas relevant to Huntsman Cancer Institute's mission and this position.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with process of creating education materials about art. </li><li>Act as intermediary between art curators and HCI administration. </li><li>Schedule regular check ins with all relevant parties of the art education exhibit team. </li><li>Manage all relevant documentation required to keep projects on track for completion </li><li>Reply to questions related to art from HCI staff. </li><li>Assist with public inquiries regarding art including inquiries about art donations, </li><li>Maintain digital and physical archival information and perform annual inventories of the art. </li><li>Assist with planning and execution of a large-scale art installation at a new facility, ensuring entries in the collections database are accurate and up to date. </li><li>Research artists and objects to help inform connections to the building project and surrounding community. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required</p> <p>Nearly Continuously: Office environment.</p> <p>Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required</p> <p>Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.</p> <p>Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.</p> <p>Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications Preferences</p> <p>An undergraduate or graduate student or early-career applicant with interests in art curation and art education, particularly in a medical setting.
