Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Lead and oversee complex maintenance and repair projects for food and beverage equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues with refrigeration systems, beverage dispensers, and other specialized equipment, including performing root-cause analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with management to recommend equipment upgrades, replacements, or process improvements based on performance trends and operational needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide mentorship and advanced technical support to entry-level and intermediate technicians, fostering their skill development and knowledge.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct equipment performance evaluations and implement preventive maintenance strategies to optimize functionality and minimize downtime.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a liaison with vendors and contractors, coordinating installations or repairs and ensuring work meets company standards and specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, compliance reports, and performance metrics for audits and operational reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in strategic planning discussions with management to identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and equipment reliability.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage inventory, including stocking supplies, ordering parts, and resolving discrepancies promptly.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with store personnel, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate and timely work order notes while meeting KPI metrics for travel time, SLA, and efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to workplace safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, safety codes, building codes) while completing tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and promptly report safety hazards or compliance issues to the maintenance supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by the management team to support departmental objectives.</p> </li></ol> <p>Working Relationships: Work directly with Department teammates. Frequent communication with other departments or teams, and External Vendors.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <p>High School diploma or GED</p> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <p>Journeyman or Master's Trade License in refrigeration, plumbing, or electrical (where applicable).</p> <p>Minimum Experience:</p> <p>5+ years of relevant experience in equipment repair for food/beverage service or a related technical field.</p> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <p>7+ years of extensive troubleshooting and leadership experience.</p> <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p> <p>EPA Universal or Journeyman license.</p> <p>Soft Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Communication Skills - Clearly convey information, listen actively, and ensure mutual understanding. </li><li>Teamwork & Collaboration - Work effectively with others to achieve common goals. </li><li>Problem-solving - Use critical thinking to analyze situations and implement effective solutions. </li><li>Adaptability - Be flexible and open to change in a dynamic work environment. </li><li>Time Management - Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently. </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <p>Travel:</p> <ul> <li>Travel is a must; you must be able to deive for extended periods as needed. </li><li>A company vehicle is provided; must maintain a clean driving record. </li></ul> <p>Hours & Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday, 40 hours minimum, with participation in an on-call rotation, including holiday coverage. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work safely in confined spaces as required by the role. </li><li>Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, using proper lifting techniques and equipment as needed. </li><li>Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day. </li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead, bending, squatting, twisting, grasping, gripping, and performing repetitive movements. </li><li>Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including cold and hot conditions, as required by the role. </li><li>The work environment usually has moderate noise levels typical of industrial or operational settings. </li></ul> <p>$28.04-$37.39</p> <p>Wage</p> <p>$28.04-$37.39</p> <p>Additional Info</p> <p>At Cumberland Farms, it's important that our employees reflect the world we live in and the communities we serve.
