<p>Job Description</p> <p>Responsibilities include managing all room assignments in an effective and efficient manner. This position ensures cleanliness in all of our guest rooms is met and exceeded. The fast pace of a room attendant requires organization skills and knowledge of housekeeping operations. One must be able to multitask and handle repetitive work on a day to day basis.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Support the Crowne Plaza hallmarks and standards. </li><li>Must be highly responsible and reliable. </li><li>Vacuum, dust, change linens and clean the bathroom according to standards and procedures. </li><li>Notify supervisor when complete so rooms may be sold or occupied. </li><li>Report needed repairs or unsafe condition of room to supervisor. </li><li>Keep linen room locked; linen cart neat and organized to standards. </li><li>Maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day. </li><li>Respond to housekeeping requests from guests or management in a timely, efficient manner. </li><li>Report lost and found articles to supervisor. </li><li>All other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Have the ability to connect and effectively communicate with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner. </li><li>One should have a sense of urgency. </li><li>Have the ability to complete work accurately and in accordance with company standards. </li></ul>
