<p>Who we are looking for</p> <p>Looking for a skilled and proven professional at the Assistant Vice President level to provide leadership, project management and oversight of Back Office Accounting, Custody and Insurance client conversion initiatives and deliverables.</p> <p>The team you be joining is a part of State Street Global Delivery - Client Business Integration where we serve our clients with distinction and organizational excellence to deliver an exceptional client experience.</p> <p>Why this role is important to us</p> <p>The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS' tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.</p> <p>Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.</p> <p>What you will be responsible for</p> <p>As Assistant Vice President you will</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage client conversion activity including new client onboardings, outgoing conversions, transition management (Asset Restructuring), mergers, interfund transfers and in-kind transfers</p> </li><li> <p>Execute onboarding plan and associated activities supporting custody clients adhering to regulatory standards</p> </li><li> <p>Support new client relationships and expansion of existing relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of overall process and our operating model</p> </li><li> <p>Implement operational changes which streamline functions, and ensure an optimal service environment and technology utilization adhering to regulatory standards</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to assess overall conversion status, identify and work collectively to ensure processing follows best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Quantify, document and articulate identified processing methodology differences. Ensure client and internal teams understand the nature of such methodology changes</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with internal stakeholders including COE and other processing teams to ensure client procedures and deadlines are met</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical expertise to research and resolve discrepancies related to assets transfer and custody settlements.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure project management is updated, highlighting all potential risks with possible solutions in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and foster a culture of collaboration within the team and across business lines</p> </li><li> <p>Work in conjunction with individuals on the team as well as other Shared Service teams/COE's, Client Operations and other business units to ensure seamless conversions and ad-hoc support requests</p> </li><li> <p>Work collaboratively to ensure effective cross training across teams to support our goal of creating a global conversion team</p> </li></ul> <p>What we value</p> <p>These skills will help you succeed in this role</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of Investment Manager Servicing, Transaction Management, Capital Markets, Back Office Accounting and Custody operations, Recon and Core State Street business offerings</p> </li><li> <p>Background in complex fund structures and investment types</p> </li><li> <p>Proven strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Strong project management skills, analytical/problem solving skills, communication versatility, information technology acumen, teamwork and leadership, written and verbal skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum Bachelor's degree / Master's degree preferred or equivalent with a focus in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Technical or related field preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 7+ years financial services experience including project/program management experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with MCH and eHorizon, with a focus on complex fund investment servicing.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong skills in Microsoft Office and able to use advanced features of PowerPoint and Excel, SharePoint, project management and reporting</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional requirements</p> <ul> <li>Candidate is expected to follow State Street corporate policies regarding return to office (RTO). </li></ul> <p>About State Street</p> <p>What we do.
