<p>The Assistant Registrar for Enrollment & Student Services will identify, define, and document processes, performance objectives, and metrics to support the organization's objectives and policies related to enrollment. This includes specific processes for online registration, special populations, term activation, enrollment appointments, enrollment limits, and service indicators. The Assistant Registrar will provide training for university staff involved in enrollment processes (both individual and batch), student group assignments (both individual and batch), Post Enrollment Requirement Checking (PERC) Roster review, and provide documentation to staff that manage Maximum Credit Override and other designated tasks.The Assistant Registrar will manage and support the Student Services Team, overseeing day-to-day operations and developing metrics to measure staff performance. Responsibilities will also include managing the undergraduate and transfer first-year student registration process, as well as reviewing, updating, and maintaining the technology associated with the First Term Enrollment Process. The Assistant Registrar will support the Post Enrollment Requisite Checking (PERC) process and participate in systems testing for PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, and other applicable systems during cycles, releases, and upgrades.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>Three (3+) plus years of experience in Higher Education. </li><li>Experience with Student Information Systems; PeopleSoft preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated commitment in providing high quality services. </li><li>Ability to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment. </li><li>Expert knowledge of University policies, academic rules, and academic processes. </li><li>Strong customer service and leadership skills. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Working with schools and colleges, this position is responsible for the first-year student registration process and all associated review, updates and maintenance of the technology associated to the process. </li><li>Assign enrollment appointments to new and continuing students for all applicable careers and terms; this includes block enrollment, creating unit limits on applicable appointments and assigning extended drop appointments. </li><li>The mass assignment and mass release of student group and service indicators in support of the registration process. </li><li>Post Enrollment Requisite Checking (PERC) generating PERC rosters, distributing them to the schools and colleges for review and based upon review completing the PERC drop process </li><li>Manage and provide support to the Student Services Team, managing day to day work, develop metrics to measure staff performance. </li><li>Assist the Associate Registrar for Academic and Student Services with short and long-term planning for tasks and duties in this area ensuring work is done in a timely manner meeting efficiency requirements. </li><li>Evaluate, develop, and automate processes to meet current technology requirements. </li><li>Responsible for the overall process of enrollment and registration; this involves communications to students and staff, business process calendars, registration preparation, training, security and systems testing, reviewing impacts on the system and customizations. </li><li>Hire, train and supervise staff - providing direction, coaching, rewards and recognition. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Tools/Equipment </li><li>Application Instructions </li></ul> <p>In addition to completing an online application, please attach a resume and cover letter.</p>
