<p>Daily</p> <ul> <li>Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with management of accounting staff and department. </li><li>Handle ad hoc email/phone call requests. </li><li>Approve Concur expense reports. </li><li>Improve processes as time permits. </li></ul> <p>Monthly</p> <ul> <li>Prepare reconciliations on multiple general ledger accounts. </li><li>Maintain prepaid accounts. </li><li>Assist with job costing. </li><li>Calculate and pay commissions. </li></ul> <p>Yearly/Occasionally</p> <ul> <li>Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with audits performed by our third-party CPAs and other regulatory agencies, such as the Departments of Revenue and Labor. </li><li>Filing business occupation licenses forms as well as payment of invoices. </li><li>Filing business personal property tax returns as well as payment of invoices. </li><li>Assist in occasional financial projects as needed. </li></ul> <p>PLEASE NOTE: John H Carter Company is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms/employment agencies for this employment opportunity.
