Understanding of the Chargemaster assists to streamline processes. Addresses claim edits daily related to NCDs, LCDs, CCI edits, Medicare and various payer guidelines. Maintains a vast knowledge of coding rules/regulations surrounding ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRGs, APCs, CPT, HCPCS. Utilizes AHA Coding Clinic, AMA CPT Assistant, AHA Coding Clinic for HCPCS, and Payer Specific Billing Guidelines. Applies E&M level services. Works efficiently within EPIC, 3M applications, NThrive.
