APAC-Central, Inc. and its founding companies have been serving our customers since early in the 20th Century and look forward to continued success in the 21st Century!</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Plant Oiler - Nights will be responsible forlubicrating all the moving parts of mechanicial equipment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)</p> <ul> <li>Changes oils, greases, filters, and refuels equipment. </li><li>Uses grease guns to force grease into bearings, will pack grease cups by hand. </li><li>May assist mechanic in assembling, setting up, adjusting, maintaining and repairing all types of Quarry plant equipment. </li><li>May when servicing equipment, drive a truck which carries fuels, oils, and greases. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. </li></ul> <p>Physical?&?Work?Environment?Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving?physical?agility. </li><li>Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height. </li><li>Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed. </li><li>Work?primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and?environmental conditions. </li><li>Comfortable?working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud?environments. </li><li>Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skill Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with management. </li><li>Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions. </li><li>Demonstrated, effective skills in dealing with employees at all levels. </li><li>Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with suppliers. </li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness. </li><li>Capable of utilizing the internet effectively for research and evaluation. </li><li>Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). </li></ul> <p>The statements included in this job description are not intended to be all-inclusive.?
