Non-licensed employees will be granted one (1) year for each full year of work experience and/or educational attainment up to a maximum of ten (10) years. Responsibility for verification of outside experience shall rest with the individual employee. Additionally, all employees have access to an Employee Assistance Program, voluntary life insurance through PERA, and 401(k), 403(b), or 457 plans.</p> <p>Reports to: School principal or designee</p> <p>Deadline for application: Until filled</p> <p>Apply online @ www.pvre7.org</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalency </li><li>Working experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Office 365 </li><li>Experience working with students in primary educational setting. </li><li>Experience in customer service with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions and Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Assist teachers in media center room management and supervision of students to reinforce appropriate student behavior. </li><li>Provide reading guidance according to grade level and interest. </li><li>General knowledge of office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets. </li><li>Ability to communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse backgrounds </li><li>Competency in online searching and information retrieval. </li><li>Assist in the inventory of equipment in the springtime. </li><li>Pull Reserve books for special curricula units. </li><li>Run and post monthly overdue and collect fees for lost or damaged materials. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
