<p>FT PASTA MAKER</p> <p>MELVILLE, NY</p> <p>Our Pasta Makers are responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality pasta using authentic Italian recipes and traditional techniques. This role involves hand-stretching dough, creating a variety of pasta shapes and molds, and ensuring consistency in every batch produced. The ideal candidate is passionate about craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete daily production and batch records accurately. </li><li>Follow all quality control standards for production and packaging processes. </li><li>Handle inventory carefully to prevent waste, damage, or contamination. </li><li>Inspect finished products throughout production to ensure they meet company standards and specifications. </li><li>Monitor code dates, labels, seals, and overall product quality during all stages of production. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times. </li><li>Perform all tasks in accordance with facility SOPs and food safety guidelines. </li><li>Support efficient daily production and packaging operations. </li><li>Safely operate production equipment and machinery. </li><li>Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas. </li><li>Properly use and store cleaning supplies and sanitation materials. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of pasta-making experience required. </li><li>Experience with packaging and/or production operations preferred. </li><li>Ability to maintain accurate production records and documentation. </li><li>Knowledge of production SOPs, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures. </li><li>Understanding of GMPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Strong commitment to quality and willingness to learn traditional pasta-making techniques. </li><li>Ability to speak, read, and understand English. </li></ul> <p>We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(K), 50% off in store lunch, 25% off in store shopping and more!</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Position requires standing and moving continuously on hard surfaces for extended periods. </li><li>Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, stooping, lifting, and handling of materials may be required. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. </li><li>Work is performed in an indoor production environment with moving machinery and occasional loud noise levels. </li><li>Exposure to varying temperatures from ovens, coolers, and freezers may occur. </li><li>Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, sharp tools, and industrial equipment is expected. </li></ul>
