<p>Job Title: Service Technician</p> <p>Start Date: Immediately</p> <p>Salary Range: $20.00-$30.00/hourly DOE</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>This position is responsible for efficiently performing various types of roofing installations utilizing safe work practices.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate schedule adjustments with Lead as needed </li><li>Work efficiently and collaboratively with Lead Tech </li><li>Share experience and knowledge with team for effective completion of work orders </li><li>Adapt to management needs to help with efficiency and </li><li>Clean, maintain, and stock assigned work truck </li><li>Ensure necessary materials are kept stocked in the warehouse </li><li>Support Service Tech Lead in organizing and scheduling with multiple clients and job scopes </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>2-3 years of experience in roofing </li><li>Experience working with metal roofing, coping, and materials such as, epdm, tpo, pvc, etc. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Vast knowledge of roofing applications, systems, and repair </li><li>Class E Driver License </li><li>Deadline orientated </li><li>OSHA 10 Certified </li><li>Must have excellent customer relations skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal need for direction and oversight </li><li>Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites </li><li>Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills </li><li>Detail-oriented </li><li>Embody and model company values of Serving Others, Passion for Results, Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Teachable, Transparency,Consistency and Excellence. </li><li>Always represent the company in a positive manner </li><li>Must demonstrate respect to customers, supervisors, and team members, communicating all concerns in a professional manner and always adhere to standards of conduct and company policies </li></ul> <p>Work Environment/Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program </li><li>Willing to travel </li><li>Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights) </li><li>Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater </li><li>Frequent bending, kneeling, walking </li><li>Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day) </li><li>Overtime and weekend work </li></ul> <p>Work Location: 2443 Rockfill Road Fort Myers, Florida 33916</p> <p>At J.R. & Co., Inc., we're not just building roofs-we're building careers.
