Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning related to Wealth Underwriting </li><li>Review, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for moderately complex high-net-worth loans to determine credit worthiness and monitor existing portfolio to identify issues that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations </li><li>Independently resolve moderately complex business, operational, or technical issues and lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements </li><li>Develop solid understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages as needed </li><li>Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; serve as a mentor for lower level staff </li><li>Provide input to assist leaders with credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of Wealth Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in credit assessment: Analyzing the creditworthiness of borrowers and assessing their ability to repay the loan. </li><li>Skilled in collateral evaluation: Evaluating the value and appropriateness of the securities used as collateral for the loan. </li><li>Knowledgeable in transaction evaluation: Assessing the risks and suitability of the overall lending transaction. </li><li>Experience in documentation and analysis: Document findings, analyzing loan files, and identifying potential exceptions. </li><li>Skilled in risk mitigation: Reconciling findings with guidelines and identifying compensating factors. </li><li>Knowledgeable in compliance: Adhering to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data security standards. </li></ul> <p>Job Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
