Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy/Staff Pharmacist, following established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, the Pharmacy Technician performs a variety of pharmacy related functions including filling routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and I.V. admixtures.</p> <p>This is a per diem position.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>High School graduate or equivalent required.</p> <p>MA Pharmacy Technician registration required, certification preferred.</p> <p>Experience with automated dispensing (Pyxis) and MediTech Information System desirable.</p> <p>Prior retail pharmacy preferred with some prior experience in hospital.</p> <p>It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>PHARMACY TECHNICIAN</p> <p>As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
