<p>Piper Companies is searching for an experienced Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join a clinical research site in Raleigh, NC as a part-time Principal Investigator to provide leadership and support for clinical development and execution of gastroenterology clinical trials.</p> <p>This role is part-time, 4 - 10 hours expected per week, and can be completed onsite in Raleigh, NC based on the candidate's availability during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Principal Investigator:</p> <ul> <li>Provide clinical expertise in the conduct of gastroenterology clinical trials </li><li>Collaborate across the organization in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement </li><li>Provide oversight to a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in conducting clinical trials </li><li>Evaluate study volunteer's eligibility for clinical trials </li><li>Review diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the clinical trials team </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Principal Investigator:</p> <ul> <li>Board Certified Gastroenterologist </li><li>Active license to practice medicine in North Carolina with no history of license suspension or debarment </li><li>Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions </li><li>Clinical research experience preferred, not required </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Additional Details for the Principal Investigator:</p> <ul> <li>$175/hr - $225/hr dependent on experience and patient access </li><li>Sick leave if required by law </li><li>No benefits are offered for part-time employees </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 8/18/2025.
