This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation brain delivery platforms and therapeutic programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in engineering and optimizing antibody-based modalities using advanced display technologies and library screening approaches. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Protein Science, Neuroscience, and Bioinformatics to drive innovation in CNS targeted biotherapeutics.</p> <p>Position Specific Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and optimization of display platforms (phage and yeast) for antibody and protein engineering applications </li><li>Design, build and screen diverse immune and synthetic antibody libraries including monoclonals, antibody fragments, nanobodies and other novel antibody modalities </li><li>Apply strategies for antibody affinity maturation and functional optimization </li><li>Implement and refine high throughput screening workflows, including FACS, NGS and deep mutational scanning </li><li>Analyze data to identify lead molecules and guide engineering decisions </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Protein Science, Neuroscience, and Bioinformatics to advance platforms and therapeutic candidates </li><li>Stay current with advances in protein/antibody engineering and display technologies </li><li>Contribute to patent filings, publications, and external presentations </li></ul> <p>Specialized Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>PhD in biochemistry, protein engineering, chemical engineering or related field </li><li>5+ years of hands-on industry experience using display technologies </li><li>Proven expertise in yeast and phage display platforms, as exemplified by a strong publication record </li><li>Track record of success in antibody discovery, from immunization to library design, hit selection, humanization, and optimization </li><li>Experience with immune and/or synthetic library generation and screening </li><li>Proficiency with standard molecular biology techniques and protein expression systems </li><li>Outstanding analytical, research and organizational skills </li><li>Self-motivated with an ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and make decisions </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Position level determined by candidate experience, qualifications, and competencies </li></ul>
