Come develop your career with an award-winning, customer focused automotive group.</p> <p>We're looking for a PART TIME EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN to join our team at Friendship Kia!</p> <p>This position will have a flexible schedule of up to 30 hours a week with a late afternoon start time, working into the evening.</p> <p>Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of technician experience and can confidently complete varying repair orders on all makes and models. Manufacturer or ASE certifications are preferred but not required.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems </li><li>Accurately provide an estimate of the time needed for service </li><li>Properly use tools and service equipment to diagnose and maintain vehicles </li><li>Efficiently perform work specified on Repair Orders </li><li>Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations </li><li>Effectively communicate any issues or additional needs to Assistant Service Managers </li><li>Adhere to dealership procedures for safety and standards of quality </li></ul> <p>Qualification Checklist:</p> <ul> <li>Broad knowledge of automotive mechanics </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Able to learn new technology, repair, and service specifications </li><li>Independent starter with the ability to work well on a team </li><li>Valid driver's license with good driving record and clean background </li></ul> <p>Benefits and Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>We offer an hourly rate ranging from $18-$30 an hour based on experience and certifications. </li><li>You'll have a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, paid time off, company holidays, 401(k), and various wellness and gym reimbursements. </li></ul>
