<p>Crew Manager</p> <p>Deceuninck is seeking a Crew Manager for Crew 3 Day Shift (12 hr shift 2-2-3 schedule)</p> <p>Responsible for all day-to-day operational activities in multiple departments for this crew. The Crew Manager will lead his/her crew to meet daily set targets on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Directly leads a diverse team of Production Supervisors to achieve daily set production goals. </li><li>Has responsibility for the operational safety of his/her crew. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting near misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE, and requiring his/her crew to do the same. </li><li>Executes the production schedule to ensure On Time Delivery of customer orders. </li><li>Reports progress on KPI's, as instructed by the Plant Manager. </li><li>Ensures quality in the products we produce by focusing on standard operating conditions and by leading the crew to work on root causes and corrective actions. </li><li>Creates a culture and environment of continuous change, improvement, and learning by actively coaching his/her Production Supervisors, developing their careers, and requiring the Production Supervisors do the same with their direct reports. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A record of accomplishment of coaching and developing others. </li><li>Intermediate to advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project a plus. </li><li>Experience in SAP and Paycor systems a plus. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and project management skills. </li><li>Ability to work strategically and tactically; hands-on experience in manufacturing operations required. </li><li>PVC/Extrusion experience a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with Environmental, Health and Safety. OSHA training preferred. </li><li>Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. </li><li>Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in an engineering, operations or technical, manufacturing-related field from an accredited college or university. </li><li>5 years' experience leading and developing exempt and nonexempt employees in manufacturing operations. </li></ul>
