Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.</p> <p>EvergreenHealth in beautiful Kirkland, Washington is seeking an experienced Intensive Care RN to join the well- established and dynamic team in the 20- bed Intensive Care Unit.</p> <p>Take a Tour of the New ICU</p> <p>https://www.evergreenhealth.com/health-services/intensive-care/</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.</p> <p>Primary Duties:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.</p> </li><li> <p>Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively communicates all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.</p> </li></ol> <p>License, Certification, Education or Experience:</p> <p>Required for the position:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required) </li><li>Minimum of one-year recent RN experience in critical care or intensive care nursing. </li><li>Current WA State Registered Nurse License </li><li>Current Healthcare Provider BLS- American Heart Association by start date. </li><li>Current Healthcare Provider ACLS- American Heart Association by start date. </li></ul> <p>Desired for this position:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li><li>Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) </li><li>CCRN certification is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefit Information:</p> <p>Choices that care for you and your family</p> <p>At EvergreenHealth, we appreciate our employees' commitment and contribution to our success.
