<p>Overview</p> <p>Position: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)</p> <p>Location: Poplar Bluff, MO</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm</p> <p>Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000/year, commensurate with experience</p> <p>Incentives: $10,000 Bonus and student debt benefit program!</p> <p>Our Prosthetics and Orthotics center in Poplar Bluff is hiring a compassionate and driven ABC Certified full-time Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO). The ideal candidate will oversee all stages of design, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance of prosthetic devices related to patients' needs, as indicated by a physician. American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Prosthetics/Orthotics or the completion of a Residency Program in Prosthetics/Orthotics (Board Eligible), is required to be considered for this opportunity. Our work environment offers a great opportunity to provide exceptional care for our patients and to grow within our Prosthetics and Orthotics division.</p> <ul> <li>Employer will not sponsor work visas for this position now or in the future and is not interested in corp.-to-corp. business arrangements at this time.* </li></ul> <p>Benefits and Incentives:</p> <ul> <li>Multiple health plans: PPO and HSA options through BC/BS </li><li>Dental/vision/prescription/disability/supplemental life insurance and more </li><li>Company matching 401(k) </li><li>Generous paid time off (PTO) and extended illness days (EID) </li><li>Indefinite student debt benefit program </li><li>Industrywide unmatched continuing education program </li><li>Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patients' needs, as indicated by a physician. </li><li>Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patient's need for orthotic/prosthetic services. </li><li>Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. </li><li>Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. </li><li>Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. </li><li>Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. </li><li>Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. </li><li>Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. </li><li>Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. </li><li>Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. </li><li>Provides on-call services, as necessary. </li><li>Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university from a recognized Orthotics and Prosthetics school. </li><li>American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics Prosthetics required. </li><li>Minimum of one (1) year experience in providing orthotic services under the supervision of a certified practitioner. </li></ul> <p>Additional Data</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</p>
