<p>Sales Associate</p> <p>Position Profile</p> <p>Reports To: Store Manager</p> <p>FLSA Status: Part or Full-Time, Non-Exempt</p> <p>Updated: April 2025</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>An ERIK'S Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing knowledgeable, personalized service. This role involves assisting customers in selecting products that meet their specific needs, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and achieving individual and store sales goals. Associates are expected to develop strong product expertise, support merchandising efforts, and contribute to a positive team environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maximize each sales opportunity </li><li>Ensure each customer has an exceptional experience. </li><li>Support store retail operations and merchandising. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <p>To successfully host the party, every retail team member must remain flexible to meet both customer and store needs. Regardless of your primary responsibilities, you are expected to step in and support wherever needed to drive the overall success of the business.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication abilities-both verbal and written. </li><li>Customer-first mindset with excellent sales skills. </li><li>Leadership capabilities to inspire, guide, and support a high-performing team. </li><li>Proficiency with technology and computer systems. </li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills. </li><li>High personal accountability and a results-driven approach </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment. </li></ul> <p>This position profile is a representation of what is required for an employee to succeed.
