<p>Location:</p> <p>Secaucus, New Jersey</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>This position will serve as a key liaison for day to day global sourcing operations and for working with cross-functional partners at overseas offices and vendors.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key liaison for day to day global sourcing operations and work effectively with cross-functional partners at overseas offices and vendors </li><li>Maintain seasonal production calendar to ensure deadlines are met </li><li>Develop negotiation and costing skills; responsible for achieving financial targets for a specific category </li><li>Maintain product cost updates and communicate with overseas offices regarding requested costing options </li><li>Align tasks to achieve on-time delivery and quality product for the product approval process </li><li>Maintain commitment schedule for fabric reservations and long lead times based on direction from management </li><li>Maintain product tracking process for specific categories </li><li>Expedite and monitor sample development progress and alert appropriate partners if delays or problems arise </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of sourcing processes and present to manager </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>3+ years of experience in related role </li><li>Retail industry experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Behaviors:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Must be detail oriented </li><li>Ability to work on tasks and job functions independently </li><li>Ability to build cross-functional relationships </li><li>Ability to interact with all levels within the organization </li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency </li><li>Must be able to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities </li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office </li></ul> <p>Hourly/Salary</p> <p>o Benefits include: Bonus eligible (depending on role), Paid Time Off, Employee Discount, 401(k) and company match, Wellness Reimbursement, Adoption Assistance, free backup care (for kids, pets & the elderly), choice of health insurance plans, company-paid life/AD&D, short and long term disability, a variety of voluntary benefits and an employee assistance program.
