<p>Responsible for the preparation of feeding formulas and service of therapeutic meals to inpatient and outpatient programs. Assembles meal carts and trays for delivery. Serves meals to residents in the dining areas. Supports Hospital's mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting agency standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Reviews resident diet information, and formula book on a daily basis to ensure adherence to physician's medical order in the provision of meals and Enteral feedings. </li><li>Prepares meal carts and trays to provide meals in accordance with the resident's individualized meal plan/diet order, and outpatient meal requirements. </li><li>Assists with the delivery of meal carts </li><li>Serves meals to residents in the dining areas as per diet order and individualized meal plan. </li><li>Prepares feeding formulas as per diet order and individualized feeding plan. </li><li>Delivers and stores feedings in the Enteral Preparation room on all units. </li><li>Prepares 10am and 3pm snacks in accordance to individualized meal plan/diet order. </li><li>Observes proper infection control procedures; maintains compliance to regulatory Standards/guidelines and department policy. </li><li>Complete daily cleaning assignments. </li><li>Performs other related duties and activities that may become necessary as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Formal education required:</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in college nutrition program.</p> <p>Previous experience required:</p> <p>Experience with scales and measurements.</p> <p>Nutrition/food service experience preferred.</p>
