<p>AAbout the role</p> <p>Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior .Net Developer (Hybrid) with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.</p> <p>Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.</p> <p>Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we're doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.</p> <p>Work model:</p> <p>We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.</p> <p>Work Authorization: Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Customer issue resolution: Act as a point of contact for escalated or complex customer inquiries and complaints that frontline staff cannot resolve. Analyze production issues and support the application maintenance </li><li>Development work: Determine and prioritize maintenance work, which includes bug fixes, performance improvements, and security updates </li><li>Performance monitoring: Track team performance, analyze metrics, and implement solutions to improve service levels, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. </li><li>Process improvement: Identify areas for improvement, implement new processes, and create training materials to enhance support services. </li><li>Coordination and communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth information flow and coordinate efforts to meet strategic objectives. </li><li>Operational management: Manage work queues, and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Required 5 to 8 years of experience. </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with .NET framework including VB .NET, Windows form. </li><li>Hands -on Experience in MQ and window service </li><li>Proven hands-on experience in building WebAPI </li><li>Proficiency in SQL Server databases and Active reports. </li><li>Desired to have exp with Azure cloud services. </li></ul> <p>These will help you stand out:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. </li><li>Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture. </li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li></ul> <p>Salary and Other Compensation:</p> <p>Applications will be accepted until January 5, 2026.</p> <p>The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</p> <p>This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.</p> <p>Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance </li><li>Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off </li><li>401(k) plan and contributions </li><li>Long-term/Short-term Disability </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
