<p>Adjunct Faculty positions are part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the college.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Deliver non-credit Industrial Sewing classes as assigned.</p> <p>? Instruct classes as assigned at worksite and/or campus locations within programming designed to meet specific company training and production objectives.</p> <p>? Teaching load is dictated by project, or projects, not by credit hour production.</p> <p>? Work a flexible schedule as dictated by client company training demand.</p> <p>? Maintain records on student attendance, progress, and skills mastery.</p> <p>? Develop or adapt instructional materials as necessary for the effective delivery of curriculum.</p> <p>? Assist in the identification of facility, equipment, and materials needs in the classroom.</p> <p>? Participate in training and professional development as needed.</p> <p>? The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>? Must have expertise in industrial sewing and garment production, with the ability to convey knowledge through hands-on instruction.</p> <p>? Must demonstrate competency with industrial sewing equipment, including threading, operating, and troubleshooting machines such as lockstitch, overlock, and coverstitch.</p> <p>? Must have strong working knowledge of current safety protocols, quality control practices, and production documentation.</p> <p>? Prior experience in sewing instruction, workforce training, or manufacturing is highly desirable.</p> <p>? Conducts all activities with an appreciation and respect for the diversity of people, styles, and culture.</p> <ul> <li>-- </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <p>?
