Come and play an important part on our incredible team today!</p> <p>What you get to do:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all functions of general paint work for in-park painting services while ensuring a safe environment for guests and employees </li><li>Utilize application methods, airless spray, conventional spray equipment, brush and roller applications </li><li>Perform pressure washing; assemble, dismantle scaffolding </li><li>Perform tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park operational guidelines; organize and plan daily workload without direct supervision </li><li>Select proper materials for jobs </li><li>Maintain cleanliness in the paint shop and storage areas </li><li>Dependable performance in terms of attendance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements </li><li>Perform other miscellaneous duties as required </li></ul> <p>What It Takes To Suceed:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 </li><li>Have at least one year of onsite experience or equivalent experience in the painting field </li><li>Have experience working with chemical and hazardous waste </li><li>Ability to obtain a company driver's license including high reach and forklift licenses </li><li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Be comfortable building and working on scaffolding up to 24ft </li><li>Be able to pass a respirator fit test </li><li>Have basic mathematical skills </li><li>Be comfortable working at heights up to 100ft </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance </li><li>Be able to climb and work off of ladders </li><li>Have paint and body experience </li><li>Have experience in fiberglass repairs, applying polyester bondo and refinishing (preferred) </li><li>Ability to work under and meet tight deadlines </li><li>Be comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations </li><li>Be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor </li><li>Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes </li><li>Ability to train on and properly use protective gear </li><li>Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts </li></ul> <p>What Else Is Important:</p> <ul> <li>Valid state driver's license </li><li>Base coat/clear coat and single stage preferred </li><li>Experience in other maintenance fields preferred </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li></ul> <p>As a 365 day/year operation, full-time candidates are expected to provide flexible availability to support year-round operating needs.
