<p>Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader</p> <p>We pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people.</p> <p>Your mission, roles and responsibilities</p> <p>The IMM Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for many different new model programs within the Molding Department. </p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Support, monitor, and if needed create/implement RJG scientific molding processes </li><li>Establish process parameters for new model production tools </li><li>Evaluate molding process issues as to root cause of new tooling issues </li><li>Develop and/or participate in DOE for definition of processes on new production tools/products </li><li>Update/audit process parameters for Molding Machines to ensure compliance with ISO/TSO requirements </li><li>Work with suppliers to resolve issues with materials, or tooling using DOE and statistical tools </li><li>Participate and lead QRCI teams for resolution of both internal and external customer issues </li><li>Work closely with Facilities Engineering for production input for requirements on New Model Programs </li><li>Develop and maintain Golden Book for all Processes and update when needed. </li><li>Read EL and/or HY schematics to assist skilled trades for troubleshooting </li><li>Work with ABB and gantry-style unloaders in support of new model production </li><li>Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy. </li><li>Follow requirements established in Louisville Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions. </li><li>Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Your profile and competencies to succeed</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>First-rate computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, GMAP. </li><li>Must be willing to take on various special projects as they are identified. </li><li>Experience with PLC programming and/or troubleshooting a plus. </li><li>RJG scientific molding methodology experience and/or Master Molder certification preferred. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>What we can do for you</p> <ul> <li>You will work within an international team full of energy; </li><li>You will work on challenges that matter; </li><li>You will find a strong emphasis on talent development and abundant opportunities for growth; </li><li>You will have the autonomy to launch processes and to be accountable for them as a process owner; </li><li>A powerful VIE community spirit within Forvians. </li></ul> <p>Why join us</p> <p>FORVIA is an automotive technology group at the heart of smarter and more sustainable mobility.
