<p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Duties: (Full-time) Responsible for computer systems, PLCs, control circuits, communication systems, I/O field devices, VFD drives/motors, measurement systems, and other control equipment; Coordinate BRS, contractor, and vendor activities to install or modify electrical equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and other specifications; Work directly with all maintenance and operations personnel in a fast-paced environment to help develop a safety-focused, productive roll mill team, support electrical teammates to help maintain a positive and efficient work environment focused on safety and reliability; Manage the design, development, implementation, and procurement of hardware and/or software for improvement projects and provide support for other disciplines' projects.</p> <p>Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, and other closely related degrees and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of related automation experience in the metals industry. Must have 5 years of experience in the following skills: NFPA 70E safe work practices; Interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; Advanced PLC programming (Siemens or similar); Regulator tuning, data acquisition/analysis, motor and drives control, communication systems, and HMI experience.</p> <p>Travel Requirement: N/A</p> <p>To apply: Send resume and cover letter to HR@bigriversteel.com with Ref# PB0425 in re line.</p>
