In fact, we're the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Perform clinical pharmacy duties under the direction of the Lead Clinical Pharmacist (if applicable). Clinical specialists support the development, implementation and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, appropriate cost-effective medication therapies.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Education: PharmD degree or BSPharm with experience since 2006 plus PGY1 Pharmacy Residency </li><li>Clinical Skills: Patient counseling, patient profile review, pharmacokinetic evaluation, superior time and project management, preceptorship, antimicrobial basic skills, evidence-based literature review </li><li>Operational Skills: narrow service area expertise for drug information needed for preparation, administration and delivery of medications, pharmacokinetic evaluation necessary for narrow service area, superior time and project management, evidence-based literature review </li><li>Years of Experience: Completion of PGY1 or 3 years full time inpatient pharmacy practice. </li><li>License: Must be a registered pharmacist, licensed in good standing in Michigan and Ohio. Single facility-based pharmacists must retain state licensure per site location. </li><li>Certification: BLS, ACLS and/or PALS, Board Certification within 2 years of hire </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Years of Experience: Completion of PGY 2 or 4 years full time inpatient pharmacy practice.</p> <p>Certification: Board Certification</p> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Physical Demands: Must be able to lift light materials.
