Marzetti, and we reserve the right to contact those candidates without any obligation to pay a fee.</p> <p>The Senior Finance Manager, Retail position is a unique opportunity for the right individual to play a central role in our growing Retail division. The individual in this role will partner with the Retail leadership team to ensure alignment to, and execution of the company's financial goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Business Partnership Be the trusted financial strategist for the Retail division, partnering directly with the President to drive growth and profitability. Shape the pricing strategy alongside Sales, Marketing, and the Sales Strategy and Insights team to optimize market impact. Provide key financial insights to leadership for external reporting and strategic decision-making.</p> <p>Leadership & Talent Development A core member of the Retail Leadership Team, you will mentor and elevate a team of skilled analysts, fostering professional growth and excellence. Champion talent development across the Finance function and Retail division, ensuring a high-performing, innovative financial team. Collaborate with finance leaders in Foodservice, Overhead Cost Management, and Supply Chain to refine best practices and enhance financial planning and analysis (FP&A) capabilities.</p> <p>Financial Planning & Forecasting Lead strategic forecasting efforts, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Planning to provide accurate sales volume projections. Gather critical business insights, assess risks and opportunities, and drive gap-closing actions that position the Retail segment for sustained success.</p> <p>Performance Reporting & Communication Deliver powerful financial narratives through monthly reporting, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.</p> <p>Portfolio Strategy & Financial Innovation Be the financial anchor for high-impact business initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Costing, Supply Chain, Retail Sales, and Project Managers) on new product development and cost optimization. Conduct deep financial analyses and provide candid, strategic recommendations that align projects with broader business goals.</p> <p>Month-End Excellence Execute key financial processes, including journal entries, ensuring accurate and efficient month-end close operations.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>6-10 years' experience in a Finance role supporting planning and analysis. </li><li>2+ years' experience partnering with organizational leaders. </li><li>Experience leading a team with objective setting, performance and development. </li><li>Four-year college degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience required. </li><li>Skilled with Microsoft Office, specifically excel and powerpoint. </li><li>Experience in programs such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Microstrategy, a plus </li><li>Related Experience: Retail sector experience a plus </li><li>Ability to work in a team setting, drive team results and support change management within the organization. </li><li>Sound interpersonal skills and strong verbal, written and presentation skills. </li></ul>
